What is AVG AntiVirus Security?

AVG AntiVirus Security Free is AVG's software to protect your android phone.

After installing this app, AVG AntiVirus Security Free will scan your device for malware, as well as analyzing services, files, apps, text messages that may harm your smartphone.

Anything is found to be false positive will be removed immediately.

The screen is divided into four sections:

Protection
You can always lower the sensitivity level if you want.
 Schedule daily or weekly scans.

Performance
Performance monitoring, you can check your battery's power level,
 how many free storage available and track your application's resource usage.

Anti-Theft
If your smartphone is lost or stolen, you can use AVG's Anti-Theft to locate your device
 using google map.

Privacy
Block fishing sms messages and calls that you don't want to answer.

How to install?

On the computer side

• Step 1 Download the installer
• Step 2 Run the installer and choose a folder on your PC
• Step 3 After installtion, go to the folder where you extract the installer
• Step 4 Connect you android phone to your PC
• Step 5 You'll get the usual "new hardware found" kind of messages
• Step 6 Copy the apk file extracted at Step 2 to the new hardware (Your smartphone's storage)

On the smartphone side

• Step 1 Navigate to the folder where you copied the apk file to
• Step 2 Install the apk file
• Step 3 Enjoy
